Please join Ohlone Humane Society (OHS) in supporting the efforts of a Fremont resident trying to control the stray/feral cat community. Here is her story:
I am looking for financial help for a large group of parking lot cats in Fremont. I have been feeding these cats for 5 years now. I am an elderly lady on a fixed income and with the rising costs, I am finding it difficult to pay for the rest of the cats to be fixed. I am looking for help with the TNR (Trap/Neuter/Release) for these cats so the population doesn’t grow larger. I’d like to start trapping before kitten season. Over the years many people have trapped here and fixed cats, but they run the entire parking lot. So nobody has been able to get the project under control. I myself have trapped many cats here and have caught kittens and found homes for them. I currently have 2 of them myself. I have seen many cats come and go over the years with the new generations coming in. It’s more than I can handle and I am in need of help.
Please help us fundraise to get the cats fixed. The copay of $50 per each cat and with the help of an OHS trapper we can get this done. Our goal is to reach $1200. All donations are tax-deductible and will go straight to Ohlone Humane Society, which in turn will be used directly for this project.
Thank you in advance for your donation and in helping keep the stray/feral cat population under control and allowing these cats to live a better life.
